I can't find her on ebay but I think you have done a nice bit of sewing. The only thing I can see is that see has to dribbles on either side of her mouth, are they ment to be there. Also with the bonnet( just my oppinion) because I like narrow brims, so you can see their face more. Otherwise she is lovely and I hope the ebay goes well for you.
OOO, I'm sorry you didn't get any bids hun. I think the very bright pink background where the words go put me off. It's just too loud (IMHO). Maybe a softer color since she is so soft and cuddly looking. Sometimes it's just the little things "about our auctions" that make a difference. Sometimes it's not the bub at all.
I do think that maybe (and I'm speaking as a certified Secrist teacher here) her reddish color can be toned down (neutralized) a bit. IF you choose to do that, just look on the colorwheel to see the color you can put on to make her blushing softer (especially on the soles of her feet). Maybe put just a touch of the baby tears on her eyes to give her a little more sparkle! She has such a wonderful outfit and her hair seems well done (kinda hard to tell) it's a shame she didn't get adopted by some mommy. :(
Sometimes it's the general attitude of ebay bidders, sometimes it's that we need more practice. You never know with ebay!
I'll just give her away to one of my granddaughters. Maybe I should try selling the dresses. I might have more luck. Anyone want to make an order? Janie
Thanks for the compliments on the dress. I would have to get $30.00 for that outfit.. That would be a bonnet, dress, and bloomers. Price would also depend on the fabric and lace I used on an ordered set. Then of course shipping charges would be extra.
I just checked out your ebay, I'm sorry you didn't get any bids. Maybe you should have put her on a bit longer. I agree with Pat B, the pink is a bit bright for ebay although I looooove that colour pink.
