Hi all! Just wanted to see what you think of my babies so far. Phoebe has no hair or lashes yet, Rosie has most of her coloring on but no crease or lip color yet (she's the bi-racial), and I am working on the triplets hair (only 2 heads painted so far, and partly rooted).
So, let me have it girls (but nicely). And don't say they're nice and cute if you really don't think so please.
oh the coloring looks fantastic on your bi-racial baby. I am thinking I want to give one a try as the coloring on bi-racial babies is so nice, we have a family friend who has 5 daughters who range the spectrum from blond and pail skinned to one who looks fully black. I think they are the most gorgeous girls on the planet.
Hello Pat B, Honest oppinions, Now that I know about Genesis even though I haven't got to use it yet, seeing the others on the forum, I think Phoebe could be a bit more blotchy, and the first photo looks like her left hand side of her lip (looking at her) is a little higher up than should be. Please don,t be offended, the others are cute and you can see they are blotchy even though they are tiny.June M from Oz See twice I have had to edit, with this new black keyboard even with a light over it.
Its really hard to give opnions on work that isnt finished. As we may just be pointing out things that you have not yet got around to doing. And being we all do it in different order/sequence its hard to say where you are at.
I like your phoebe..I think this baby is going to be a real sweet heart.
I like your bi racial baby, but I see there still needs to be shading done to add definition to her creases and folds... And facial features.
Honestly Im not really into the tiny babies. But thats just me.
Kat

Hey! Thanks everyone for the comments/critiques...
Yes, I do like this section as it is "in progress" which is nice because if we miss on something or it's too over done, we still have the room to correct or add to it. :)
No offence taken June! :) And Kat, no I have not put in the crease color or final blushing or eyebrows/eyelashes yet. But just getting the base tones right on AA's or bi-racials can be a challenge all on its own (as several of us have noticed) :o
I'll take pics again when they are finished. I'll try to finish them up this weekend.
Hi Pat,.. Looks good!!! i'm looking forward to the finished pictures of your babies :) ...and my Phoebe ..LOL..only now im looking forward to the 3/4 cubby limbs i sculpted for her.
I think I stuffed up my Pheobe, she got a eyebrow colour on her cheek and I took it off with aceitone now I have patch I have to try to match. her eyebrows are done her lips and I painted her bottom lashes ,modern style, I hope the patch heals poor little bugger, burning her skin like that. Well that's one lesson I learnt today. June M from Oz.
OH June! Poor little Phoebe :( I'm sure you'll make her alllll better hun. :)
Yes Daan, your Phoebe! Her painted head was a hoot in my booth at the show this weekend. The people love her little painted forehead, they said it looks sooooooo very realistic!! :) I'm going her hair right now :)
3/4 LIMBS FOR 22"???????????? You did some? Know when they're coming out??? I put your Brandi limbs (19" with my Rosie) and they look simply marvelous hun!! I'm excited!!!!!!!!!
Pat B, She is just a Darling, I wish I had been able to do mine, I love her curly brown hair, I looks like the Rosie head of har I did and sold. I was going to do mine a blonde, that would have been some thing to compair with ,a blonde and a brown haired Pheobe. June M from Oz
Phoebe is beautiful, Pat! I think the last picture is my favorite. She looks so innocent and sweet. Her hair is so pretty! You did a great job rooting those curls.
Oh yes! They absoulutely are Secrist "Real Eyes" and are the only eyes I use in my babies! I have also been using them in my porcelain dolls for 20 years! You can't go wrong with "optical grade acrylic" eyes that look real and won't change color (I sound like a commercial don't I?).
Thank you ladies, I love my angora goat hair. And I love making it curl. My Vivien also has this hair. I color it myself. I thought... "I haven't seen too many curly haired babies" so thought I'd curl hers. I didn't even have to cut it to style. It just kinda went that way.
Ya, I know the last pic is a little dark but I do love that little face. I'm hoping Danielle comes on to see her. This is my personal one that she signed for me when we were at IDEX in Orlando in Feb. :)
