Hi everyone I hope this finds you all well as I am. I've been busy the last couple of weeks reborning my 2nd baby who I think is adorable and I am really happy with how she turned out, as well as Spring cleaning (definately not as much fun!). So now Kyjana (my first baby) has a sister..well for a little while at least...as husband says I have to "adopt" her out if I want to make another one! I named her "Willow" which I think suits her. She's Petra Jansen's Cathy sculpt and was lovely to work on. I notice there are lots of new people on the forum since I last posted, so "hi" to you all. 125 sleeps till I go to Perth. I hope they go fast as I can't wait!
hey auntie carol... she's sweet, and her name suits her well.
i hope she gets a decent price so you can keep making more. looking forward to seeing you and uncle Chris, 125 sleeps huh... i'm sure its going to fly by, after all this year has just evaporated it seems before my very eyes!!!
there is a post about photographing and posing that you probably want to chack out before you list this little one on ebay. there's another about how do you know your ready, and one about templates i think... all of which you'll probably want to check out.
hey and you know how you were thinking on nursery names... why not play on our last name somehow given that "johnson" is already associated with babies (johnson&johnson baby powder etc) ... when corey was in like year 2 or something he got called johnson baby powder and then punched the kid who said it LOL his first fight!!!

Thanks Mo, Niece Naomi and Nana Delma for your comments. I love the name too. Mo, I searched the net for baby names and chose Kyana and added a 'silent' J to make Kyjana. I think it looks nicer!! Niece...how have you been? I've missed you! Poor Corey...that's funny though...hehe! That's a good idea, and so is yours Mo. I thought though that I might call my nursery "Too Cute Reborns" ..that's what I've had in my head for a few weeks now anyway. I might rethink yet though and put Johnson's at the beginning...??
Sammi....I know just what you mean! Willow is a limited edition also, so I hope that helps when I come to sell her, other wise she will be my last for a while, or at least until I sell her. I won't be listing her for a while yet as I have to get her an outfit to go with her. In a way I'm in a hurry to sell her so I can start another, but on the other hand I'm not, so I can enjoy her for a while. Anyway, Kyjana likes having someone to share the chair with..lol!
i love the meaning of the word "indelible" - never to be erraced, i also just love the sound of this word... it has so much beauty just in its pronounciation, at least it always has done so for me.
what about "Indelible Memories" "Indelible Innocents" "Indelible footprints of the heart" "Indelible & Forever" "Indelibly mine"
That's fantastic niece! It is a beautiful name.....I will be changing my template post haste as I like it much more!!! Indelible Lullaby Reborns? or just Indelible Lullaby?
Hello Aunty Carol, Your Willow is very sweet, but you know that we want honest opinions on this forum and to learn from others. There is only one small detail that most probably wouldn't pick out. When you set the eyes ,if you have a look in a couple of pics, the light spot should shine in the same spot in both eyes. Other than from my first son who had turned eyes. But her complection and hair colouring is lovely.(((hugs)))June M from Oz
Yeah, our reborn names sure do sound good together..lol! We've got the same surnames so we might as well have a similar nursery name..hehe!! Hi June..thanks for commenting on my new baby. I love her complexion too. Hmmm..her eyes do seem a wee bit out..I hope to improve on this. They always seem straight to start with so I must slightly move them accidentally somehow during gluing. I think eyes are the hardest part to do, specially if the neck hole is not very big.
She's a cutie! I love the new nursery name...sounds like a song! Go for it! Eyes can be hard at times especially on the smaller babies. Great catch June!
hi I sometime cut the neck hole a bit bigger when the doll comes out of the oven while it is warm with a scalpel to make axcess easier for those little dolls
