I've purchased a number of items on e-bay but haven't tried to sell. What could possibly be going on with a sale that it would be taken off e-bay twice--especially one that is by a reputable seller?
I didn't know that could happen, and it makes me a little leery about trying to auction something myself.
i'm sot sure who your all talking about as i'm been MIA big time this last week or more.
As for ebay removing listings, i have had this happen a few times and its infuriating esp if you've listed it in the featured section and paid that extra fee. Once it happened to me coz i forgot the 'r' in the word "shirt" -- which meant it was "profanity". Sucha silly reason.
more recently it was bc i had a link to my webpage in my listing and they have changed their clause that means you can't have any link away from ebay. I read this to mean active hyper-links that you click on that take you directly away from ebay, so i listed my site address as preciouslullabies.com but it was inactive and not "clickable" (if thats a word). But apparently when they said link, they mean ANY other information of webaddresses. And so they pulled one of my listings for this reason... i wrote them about it saying that i felt it unfair that i have to pay to relist given that i thought i was complying with the new rule and it was due to unclear information in the wording of this condition. They still haven't replied and it was about 2-3weeks ago so i don't expect they will!!!
maybe it was one of these silly reasons that whoever we're talking about had her item delisted... its so infuriating when you think you've made the changes to comply with the rules or its just a typo that mis-spelt an otherwise harmless word to accidently spell something else.
The person we were talking about had a baby listed on ebay that was up to 11,000 dollars (check out the "oh my gosh" thread, it explains it better) and then the item was deleted. Then it was listed again, and apparently deleted again.
Naomi we are talking about Helen from Tinkerbell nursery her auction got as high as 15,000 usa and got pulled by ebay then she relisted and somone made a complaint over a tiny thing on her auction and it was pulled again at around 6,000 usa i would be spewing if it was me i feel so sorry for her (((hugs)))
