Have you guys seen this doll on ebay? Look at the price on this thing! I've never seen one get this high. I'm just watching it to see how high it will go, lol.

Helen's dolls frequently go for high prices. Her Secrist Pheobe got around 3,000 pounds which is close to $5,000 in USD. :)

Helen's talent is mind boggeling.... her dolls are always of the very  highest quality and craftmanship... and I must admit it was her that inspired me to try the craft in the first place... we all aspire to duplicate or approximate her wonderful artistry!!!  It take a lot of work, time, practice and patience to produce a baby of that quality and I will admit I am GREEN with envy and in awe of her talent!!

Well I never,,,I guess it's not hard to believe when they are well known artists. For me, I 'd settle for $300-400. but then I never addvertized, it was just word of mouth, and doll shows. What shade of green should we be.weirdfaceJune M from Oz

she was at 15,000 USA yesterday but aparently ebay removed the whole listing by accident so shes just relisted, the bids are flying in at the moment though shes already up to 620 pounds

I can't believe that ebay made such a "mistake". I can't imagine how upset Helen was when she realized what happened. I feel so bad for her.

june wheres your faith in yourself woman! i set goals my first goal was to reach 200 well i did that with my first baby i sold she went for 320 so i set my goal to 500 and ive achieved that one then it was 700 i got close at 690 so im at my 700 goal still after that will 1000 and so on, reputation takes a long time to build mine is just really starting to kick off now and its been almost 3 years i now have repeat customers etc so it does take time but well worth it helen has been reborning now for about 6 years i think it is so quite a while but she started out just like us :) never give up and please have faith in your artistic abilities you will get there (((hugs)))

Leah, I do Have faith in what I can do, it,s just that I would like to put Pheobe into comp and she hasn,t arrived and I was hoping my little Angle would be here to guide me today when I started her. I know I make Beautifull Porcelain Dolls and have had compliments about the ink reborn ones but as you say you have to be out there .I had a good reputation on the Porcelain ones because I entered heaps of comps. I think I need reassurence some times.weirdfaceJune M

the good thing about the comp hun is that no names are shown as far as i know until the winner is announced that way it is fair voting for all babies entered :)
