Awhile back, someone was interested in making a monkey,I found a 4 3/4" miniture from ashton drakes, when you enlarge to picture you ca see where his arms and legs are rooted, you,d need an ugly baby with big ears. it would be wothwhile for the person to have a look at, I couldn,t find it on the forum , so must be archived, Pat C, I think you commented on this topic.weirdfaceJune M from Oz

Yeah June, I put my two cents in on that topic.. but the party who was looking was interested in Monkey kits because of the difference in the feet.  She wanted the opposable big toe.  Not all species of monkeys have this feature, but she was looking for the particular type of monkey.
I saw the same little guys that you were talking about and they were cute... if a bit expensive for me.

I did the "Kipawa" chimp (3 my first and last) by Chris Skourayannis. Had to make the bodies because I didn't like the doll bodies for them...just didn't seem quite right...Still have them! lol
