She took me one evening and the most of the next day. She's just sitting in the clothing and not yet attached to a body, and i need to get a wig for her - i can't seem to get the rooting into an unbaked layer of sculpey... i was just making mess after mess, so a wig it shall be. I think i might let this one "live"
the first few met with my hammer, and the last one i was pretty happy with but it cracked up when baking. This little one is still far from perfect, her ears are uneven slightly, and while looking more like a baby than my other few tries, i'd still not think her exquisit or anything. I used what sculpey i had left, i want to try my next using pro-sculpt though... this one still has so many lumps and bumps - pro-sculpt is meant to be easier to smoth out than the sculpey is... so i'm told anyway.
remember this is take #4 only.... maybe when i'm on try 50 i'll have somthing special.
oh I think she is really pretty! you did a wonderful job! Are you ging to sculpt limbs for her? This little one have a name? maybe in a future we can buy a Naomi J, Sculpt! lol =)
I think that she looks great Naomi! I can't tell that her ears are uneven, but then again I only saw on of them in one of the poctures. Anyway I think she is fanstastic.
Naomi, Just on line again for a short time, I,ve been trying to take pics again. Your sculpt looks lovely, and if you do mirror image of a humans face, both sides are not the same , so I don,t thionk it matters if her ears arn,t perfect, If you took that mirror image of a human face and did the left sides, it would look ugly, the same with the right. The most beautifull people in the world, aren,t perfect. I think you have done an excellent piece of work.June M from Oz
Great job Naomi...I wouldn`t mind having a go at sculpting..I think it would be good fun...Thanks for the tips re Baby painting with kitchen sponges technique...I love the mottly skin it produces, I think you could put your layers on in which ever order you wanted as long as you get the desired effect
wow she's so cute! I can't believe you've just started! Much MUCH cuter than my first ones (and to think I used to show mine round with so much pride, lol!!)
