Meet Baby Ashley

This is my first newborn a zoe secrist sculpt that i finished last night, hubby called her ashley and it has stuck, she weighs 3lb 8oz, These are a few pics i was able to get between my 2yr old being possesive over her (think im going to have to reborn her berenger she got last christmas), im not to happy with her hair i brought the cheap mohair from collectable kids and it kept breaking as i was rooting it, oh well lesson learnt for next time.
Anyhow, how did i do, all CC welcome,

She is Very Cute! I love the zoe sculpt, I haven't reborned her yet though :(

The Hair is good, well i think so, especially for your first!

awwww wow, well done. she's so darling!!!


yet another look for this sculpt... i love how many different babies can come from the same sculpt, and Zoe is a fave of mine.

you've done really well with her photography too and captured some really lovely and natural looking baby pose.

the hairs not too bad, but i can see what you mean about so uneven breakage. I posted earlier today on some topic about my first baby... she ended up with a cute little hat b/c of her hair disaster, yours looks better than my first attempt at rooting!!!

Thanks Naomi Your comments are much appreciated, with the photography side of things that was easy, im a student photographer, and babys and children are my most photographed subject.

Mo thankyou very much for you kind comment, is that a taffy sculpt in your avatar, im doing her now but im just not feeling the bond i had with doing the zoe sculpt

awww she is a little cutie! I can see what you mean about her hair unfortunetly thats one thing we cant afford to skip on is good quality mohair you will notice a big difference on your next one, you really have done a wonderful job with her hun and should be very proud (((hugs)))

Hello Sammi, Isn,t just wonderfull how all our babies take our own style, Your Zoe looks lovely, I know what you meen about mohair. Sometimes I think the needles have a lot to do with it too. I just wish I could show some decent pics of mine.weirdfaceJune M from Oz
