she is a sweetie and i was thrilled with how she looks as a caucasin baby - the secrist example shows her only as a ethnic bub. This is the bub that has been adopted on laybuy by a 17 year old at the show. She fell madly in love with her, and i think she is one of my personal faves right now too.

Your baby pictures are absolutely beautiful! I just wanted to quote something from the contest rules before you pick. You are too sweet and your baby is too lovely to be overlooked because of a few words on Emma's hat and outfit. The rules say:

****Outfit and accessories: Clothing makes the baby. They dont need to be elaborate but they must bring out the best of the baby. Any blankets, toys or other items that add to the overall effect of the scene and beauty of the baby are welcome. Clothes must not have text on them.*****

actually #20 is one of my faves too... and #10.

I could probably crop the pic #20 to cut out the "black bit" (actually its a deep steal grey, furry throw rug)... i thought it gave a little more interest and dimention to the pics but you might be right about it being too dark.

i hope me doing a "pre-show" of the pictures i'm choosing from doesn't intimidate others from entering or anything. There are so many of you out there with exquisit tallent, many far better than me.... i'm just a bit of a photo-whore i think

Hey Naomi! Can I get you to use the "attach images" check box at the bottom of the post page from now on for your photos please? As you can see, when you don't use that it makes the forum pages really wide and throws everything off hun. (so can you please repost your little cutie for us and help out? :)
And since you're not using the poll can I get rid of it? Not trying to be mean or anything but I gotta keep a tight reign so it doesn't get away on me, you know, being the moderator and all.

I can't decide between pic 11 or 19. I personally like both of them. You know, you don't have to know what "they" are looking for in the pictures. It actually gives you the basics of what they want in the directions for the contest. Besides, who ever wins, they might ask them for a totally different pic than what was put in for the contest. So pick the one YOU like the best. Narrow it down and stick the finalists in a hat and draw one (telling yourself you are going to stay with the one that wins hehehe lol).

your suggestion on how to pick and photo is a really good one, and it makes me feel less nervous that they might ask for a different pic of the baby for publishing, thats alot less pressure off with me thinking i have to sellect the *perfect* picture to enter.

you can remove the poll, thanks. I would have deleted it myself but after a day we can't edit our own posts. So yes, please do do that.

I can see that the attach image button does work better with posting of pic's regarding the page layout. I decided to try with the BB img code simply b/c i tend to have to wait a lifetime when i uplaod through the attach image option... it seems to take a good 10 mins to upload each pic.... is this just me??? My camera is a 9mg pxl and its probably b/c of the high amount of info in each picture that the site is then scaling down before hosting as otherwise it probably exceeds the max. But you are right, when BB img hosting from photobucket the page width does get totally thrown out so i'll be patient in future when uploading and host them direct to the forum.

I love all your photos..but maybe no 18 the best...I have just finished my 6th. Baby and I am very happy with her..I might take some photos 2morrow and post a couple then. I am coming to W. A. in about 4 weeks time..I might get your phone number off Carol and give you a call..maybe we could get together and chat about Reborning??
