Here's my 1st baby: Emily Rose.  She's a Berenguer LaBaby, with a new Secrist 22" body.   I used stencil cream paints and acrylics on her, and gave her a Kemper Cassidy Mohair wig.  I included a before picture for comparison.  When my computer decides to download more pictures, I'll post a picture of her without a pacifier, too.  She's the one in my avatar, in case you haven't noticed.  She was so much fun to make, though of course she had her frustrating moments.  I'm 15, with plans to make many more reborns. Any comments you might have on her would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

She's very cute! I think you will like the Genesis paints when you try them, because they offer so many options and are more forgiving than acrylic. Did you remove the hairlines on her before you put the wig on? I never know what to do about the hairlines, so I usually just root the hair thickly on the Berenguers.

She is so cute. You did a great job, especially for being so young. My first one is named Emily too, although I spelled it differently.

Thank you all so much for the nice replies. I've attached some more pictures.  Heather, I didn't remove the hairlines or the painted hair, and it seems to be fine. On the Berenguer I'm rooting right now I did remove the painted hair, but I'm scared of removing the hairlines and making the vinyl too thin.  So next I'll do a Secrist kit without hairlines. :)  Again, thank you.
