Inserting eyes?

The Paisley kit is my first kit that requires the eyes to be inserted...and I just realized that I have no clue how do insert eyes, lol. I didn't even see a demonstration on my DVD.

Can someone explain to me what I need to do to get the eyes in? Thanks.

The 1st SEcrist dvd tells you how to do it. Basically, you take a craft knife up through the neck hole and cut the back of the eye socket open. Don't cut the vinyl off, but cut it so it is a flap. After you have them open, insert the eyes through the flap. After you have the eyes positioned the way you want them, glue the flap back shut.

You can insert them from the front also, just warm the baby up to soften the vynal so it doesnt split while your doing it, a hair dryer will do this.weirdfaceJune M from Oz

Thanks for letting me know! I finally got them in. I have only been doing closed eyes babies and then it dawned on me that I had a doll that required eyes and no clue how to do it, LOL.
