OOOO, nice! Lips just the right shade, not too much of a blotchy complection, hair looks very nice (good color for her). And I love her shoes :) Good job hun
Jennifer your new little baby is lovely, it,s a credit to all new reborner that they are learning in a positive way. And want to share their projects with us all. We are as excited as you when you finish creating and showing us you effort. June M from Oz
Thanks to you all! I'm flabbergasted! I feel a little like posting pix is like fishing for complements, but honestly, I'm looking to improve (and I know I have tons of room for improvement). You are all so great about helping, that I may try an open-eyed doll sometime soon (I have the most trouble setting eyes that I have 4 in the back room I'm just not at all happy with so I gave up on them for now). Thanks again everyone!!!!! ((((many huggs))))
ohhh she is stunning! So gorgeous, you gals and your talents make it seem so daunting to us newbies. Her skin is perfect, so realistic! I read that you have drilled her nose? How do most feel about that? To drill or not to drill that is the question lol. It looks great in the pictures here, do you ladies base it on the sculpt you have chosen?

Congrats on little Camryn, she is such an angel.

Thanks so much Christie, but I'm a newbie too (started on this forum about 5 days ago, and reborning in April this year)! I always drill the noses (then they're called "breathers"), but I'd love to hear opinions on it. I think it's just a matter of preference. I think it adds just one more touch of realism. I am careful to drill the nostrils according to the shape of the nose instead of just a plain drill hole the size of the drill bit...I think it looks a little funny to have a little tiny hole for a nostril on a sculpt that's a bit bigger...again, just a matter of preference.
I'm looking and looking for areas and tips, but i honestly can't fault you any... she's just ... perfect!!!! honestly i'm turning green with envy!!! you've one amazing tallent!!!
Camryn is a lovely baby. She is a cutie. Looking at others pics is another way of learning for me. I also drill my nose. In the beginning I would just shade the inside, but as I got more confidence in myself I begin to drill the nose. I agree with you about the size of the opening. It just adds a little more realism to the baby.
She is one of the prettiest reborns I have ever seen. You have posed her where she looks so real. Great job! What's wrong with posting to get compliments? How are you going to know how good or bad your are? Most people are nice when they post, but I think the more "nice" compliments you get, it means how good you are. It's ok to be proud, and rightfully you should be.
