I haven't been a member very long, but can already tell it's a very warm and welcoming group of people. I hope to be a long time member here.

I'm also a member on a mastiff forum (I have an english mastiff), but this place is much more laid back and enjoyable. Everyone here is so supportive and helpful. I just love it.

ohh ill put my hand up i loooove to cook! heres some jam cream and scones urn is in the middle of the table help yourselves to the coffee and tea i think at 6pm we can sit for a nice tea of lovely italian chicken on rice! alternatively for those not into italian im also making braise steak and onion with mash tatoes and vegies hehehe

I was going to make lasagne tonight but I just cant be frogged.

Been too busy with my doll. I want to make a cloth body for her, but I don't know how!! :(

Tiana,

You can buy patterns from PC to make bodies, but I think most of us just buy them already made. Secrist bodies are well-made and reasonably priced. The biggest problem with them is that they only make the bodies to fit their limbs, so you can's get bodies for the mix and match limbs (1/4 arms, 3/4 legs, etc).

unfortunately the regular bodies won't work.. she's only a 10in doll in the first place haha :)

I've drafted a pattern and will sew later tonight... if it works I am happy to share it :)

my mother makes all my baby's bodies... She even does the little bum-elastic-gather to make the toshie!

I make a lot of bodies too, I also have a scale so you can scan it to whatever size or % you want, only wish I knew how to scan it and post it with the body patterns. Maybe I,ll be able to work that out in the near future. weirdface

I wish I was in Australia too!!! We have friends there (Sussex Inlet) and I sent my DH to see them some time ago (for a whole month) and I didn't get to go myself. I would just LOVE to go for a visit!

So where are you at Heather? 6 hours might be just about anywhere. I am a stones throw away from the Mall of America. I'm between Minneapolis and Bloomington (MN). Maybe we should plan a get together? Need lessons? I'm certified by Secrist lol.

Also TEA, if the Secrist bodies don't fit someones purpose, theres always Spearsons (although I did suggest to the office about having full limb bodies made now since we have Louise).
