Hi. I have just ordered my first starter kit with the 6" mini. The store I ordered from did not have a wig to fit and I've not seen one in searching, so I'm wondering if a head that small can be rooted like the other dolls. If so any suggestions on needle size and such. If it can be rooted, I could go "all in" and order the rooting starter kit. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks sage. I don't have kit yet, I'm just excited to try it and wanted to get everything ready. The sites I visited say to measure the head circumference to get a wig, so guess I will have to wait until he arrives to look for a wig.

I have rooted all 3 of mine. Its like rooting a walnut! So tiny. One of them I just rooted the top of the head. You could also paint on hair, or use colored pencils to draw on the hair. Mine were all Secrist 6" and I went slow with the needle and didn't have to heat the head to root. Use a fine needle but go slow. Or you could do like Sage said and glue hair on.
